LTE-Advanced

Japanese

LTE-Advance is a radio system which realizes higher capacity and enhancement to LTE, and it was standardized in 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project), an international standardization organization, In order to deploy LTE-Advanced effectively, NTT DOCOMO sets multiple small cells inside a macro cell and employs the CA (Carrier Aggregation) technology, thereby configuring an advanced C-RAN architecture and realizing high capacity and high data rates.

Field Experiment on 5-Gbit/s Ultra-high-speed Packet Transmission Using MIMO Multiplexing in Broadband Packet Radio Access

An ultra-high-speed packet transmission experiment for achieving a transmission data rate of approximately 5 Gbit/s (spectral efficiency of 50 bit/s/Hz) was performed using a 100-MHz channel bandwidth in broadband packet radio access.
