DOCOMO handles customers' (business partners') Individual Numbers (social security and tax number) and specific personal information (hereinafter customers' specific personal information is referred to as "Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information", and this and customers' (business partners') Individual Numbers (social security and tax number) are collectively referred to as "Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc.") according to the following policy based on the "Privacy Policy".
1. About Handling of Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc.
- DOCOMO's purposes for using Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc.
The purposes for using Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. held by DOCOMO are limited to the range necessary to carry out the following work.- Work for preparation of payment records for compensations, fees, including contract fees, and cash prizes
- Work for preparation of payment records for real estate rental fees, etc.
- Work for preparation of payment records for consideration of the acceptance of transfer of real estate, etc.
- Work for preparation of payment records of mediation fees for selling, buying, or renting real estate, etc.
However, this does not apply when it falls under Paragraph 3, Article 16 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, which corresponds to Paragraph 3, Article 29 of the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedure (hereinafter referred to as the "Number Act").
2. About Provision of Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. to a Third Party
DOCOMO will not provide Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. to a third party. However, if any of the items of Article 19 of the Number Act applies, the necessary specific personal information will be provided to a related third party or the necessary specific personal information will be received from a related third party without prior consent of the relevant person.
3. About Sharing of Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc.
DOCOMO will not share Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. received from customers (business partners) with a specific person.
4. About Matters Such as Disclosing Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. Received Therefrom
- If a customer (business partner) who provided Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. requests disclosure of the one's own specific personal information, DOCOMO will respond to the request without delay and carry out the procedures set forth in the following items.

- As for the handling of Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. obtained by the "request for disclosure, etc.", the purpose of using Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. received by the request for disclosure, etc. is limited to the range necessary to respond to the request for disclosure, etc.
- If DOCOMO recognizes that any of the following cases apply, requested personal information may not be fully or partially disclosed. If DOCOMO decides not to disclose the personal information, the customer (business partner) will be notified of the reason in writing. (In that case, payment of handling fees will not be required.)
- If the address in the application form, the address in the document for verifying the customer's (business partner's) identity, or the address registered at DOCOMO does not match.
- If the customer (business partner) cannot be identified.
- If the specified application documents are incomplete
- If DOCOMO is not in possession of the requested personal information
- If there is a risk that disclosure will harm the life, body, assets, or other rights and interests of the customer (business partner) or a third party
- If there is a possibility that disclosure will cause significant interference with the proper conduct of DOCOMO business
- If it violates some other law or regulation
- If a customer (business partner) requests amendments, etc. (amendment, addition, deletion, suspension of usage, or suspension of provision to a third party) to one's own specific personal information, DOCOMO will investigate without delay. If, as a result, the requested specific personal information is found to be inaccurate or it is found that the information has not been managed correctly, DOCOMO will make amendments, etc. without delay. (Requests for amendments, etc. are received at Customer Support.)
Please note that even if there are requests such as for amendments, DOCOMO may not fully or partially amend the requested specific personal information in accordance with laws and regulations.

6. About Compliance with Laws
When handling Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc., DOCOMO will abide by "Personal Information Protection Act", "Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in the Administrative Procedure," and other related laws and regulations, as well as the regulatory agencies' and industry's guidelines.
7. About Security Management Procedures
When handling Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc., DOCOMO will take appropriate organizational security management measures, human security management measures, physical security management measures, and technical security management measures.

DOCOMO has established a system to manage managers for committees and organizations, etc., and an organizational management system for developing internal rules, creating statements such as management ledgers and process management tables, as well as continuous improvement, etc. - Human security management measures
DOCOMO informs and educates all persons under employment who handle Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc., regardless of whether they are directors, general personnel, or contract employees, to ensure that they understand the importance of protecting Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc., and DOCOMO signs a confidentiality agreement with them, and conducts necessary audit and supervision to ensure effectiveness. - Physical security management measures

8. About Supervising Employees and Contractors
- DOCOMO provides the necessary educational training for employees to ensure that the safety management measures are taken and personal information is handled appropriately.
- DOCOMO may outsource the whole or part of the operation related to Individual Numbers or the operation of using Individual Numbers. In this case, DOCOMO will select service providers who have been verified to handle personal information appropriately, and appropriately define the provisions regarding the handling of personal information in the outsourcing contract, such as safety management measures equivalent to those that are taken by DOCOMO, confidentiality, and conditions for re-outsourcing, and DOCOMO will supervise the service providers as needed and appropriately.
9. About Continuous Improvement of the Management System
DOCOMO will review the rules periodically, continuously, and flexibly, adapt them to changes in the technology, legal system, etc., and improve the management system in a timely manner and appropriately to ensure that the management system (compliance program) regarding protection of Customers' (Business Partners') Specific Personal Information, etc. is always maintained in the best condition.
