Some service content will vary if you subscribe to Mobile Device Protection Service with a model you already own when making a new line subscription or when switching from another carrier to DOCOMO with Mobile Number Portability (MNP).

    This service is applicable to customers who already own a model and apply for a new line subscription or switch from another carriers to DOCOMO with Mobile Number Portability (MNP) with it.

    Models designated by DOCOMO

    • Your phone must be verified to be in good working condition at a shop to proceed with the application.

    Application dates

    At the same time as or within 14 days of making a new line subscription or changing from another carrier to DOCOMO with Mobile Number Portability (MNP)

    The following describes the details of compensation when bringing in a phone purchased from another company to make a new line subscription or when changing the carrier to DOCOMO with Mobile Number Portability (MNP).
    If you have used an authorized repair service provided by the device manufacturer, you must notify the Mobile Device Protection Service Center.
