  2. Repair time may vary depending on the model and condition of your device. If the parts are not in stock, we will either send it in for repair or order it for repair.
  3. Depending on the condition of your model, we may need to replace the main unit.
  4. Even if you make an appointment, we may either send it in for repair or order it for repair depending on parts availability.
    Please try updating your iOS software before visiting us as this may resolve the issue.

iPad Repair at Shop Service

The following shops provide the iPad repair at shop service.

Please make sure to watch the video and set up your device before visiting us for repair. Otherwise, we may not be able to accept your repair request.

  1. Back up your data (a backup cannot be performed at a shop).
    All data in your device will be deleted in the repair process.

  2. Turn off Find My iPhone or Find My iPad.
    Your Apple ID and password are required to turn this setting off.

  3. Turn off Stolen Device Protection.
    If you are using an iPhone with iOS 17.3 or later and have Stolen Device Protection turned on, please turn it off at home before visiting our shop.
    Repair procedures may take a considerable amount of time if performed at our shop.

  4. Make sure you know your Apple ID and password when you visit a shop.
    If you have forgotten them, please contact Apple Support in advance.

  5. For customers who would like multiple devices repaired
    If you plan to visit a shop for multiple device repairs, make as many appointments as the number of devices you will be bringing.

Updating iOS may resolve the problem. Please give it a try before visiting a shop.

  2. Repaired parts or products are new or like new in both performance and reliability.
  3. Depending on the warranty period, condition, and availability of the device, the repair may need to be done as a send in repair.
    In such cases, the device will be repaired and returned within 4 to 7 days. The period may change depending on the situation.

Repair Flow

The basic flow for repair is as follows.

  1. Visit our shop
  2. Confirm backup status and condition (consultation and diagnosis)
  3. Provide estimate and improvement suggestions
  4. Repair your valuable smartphone
  5. Return the repaired device

Notes

  • Repairs are applicable to iPad purchased at official DOCOMO outlets.
  • Repair charges are subject to change without notice.
  • Please remove the protective film over the screen, case, and any other accessories before submitting your device for repair. Note that we cannot reimburse you for (replace, buy back, etc.) the removed protective film or other accessories.
  • The repair service is carried out in accordance with the standards of Apple Inc. The product you would like to have repaired may be returned to you without being repaired depending on the result of the diagnosis.
  • Repair may not be possible if the product you want repaired has undergone irregular repair work that is not authorized by Apple Inc. or is a modified product.
  • Cancellation after making an application for repair is not possible.
  • You are responsible for any communications charges incurred during repair and basic charges and other charges incurred during the period that you left your phone with DOCOMO.
  • When you visit a shop after making an appointment, you will be attended to as soon as there are counter staff available. Please note that you may have to wait a short while.
  • We do not repair devices that are covered by repair service programs provided by Apple Inc. Please contact Apple Support or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to have your device repaired.

  • Consumption tax will be applied at the rate in effect at the time your repair fee is charged.
