Recovery Notice: NTT DOCOMO's Mobile Network Resume Normal Operation in Most Areas Following Typhoon Faxai

NTT DOCOMO is pleased to announce that its core mobile phone service has been recovered and is now operating normally in the areas affected by Typhoon Faxai as of 00:55 p.m. JST, Thursday September 19.

DOCOMO has been providing services by means of such facilities as mobile base station cars, mobile power supply cars and electric generators in areas of Chiba prefecture where no electrical power was available. Some services may not yet be available in certain areas.

The company would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by the disruption to its services; we are sincerely grateful for everyone's patience and understanding.
