TOKYO, JAPAN, March 27, 2020 --- NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced today that its board of directors has approved a cancellation of treasury stock pursuant to Article 178 of the Companies Act.

1. Class of shares to be cancelled
   Common stock
2. Number of shares to be cancelled
   106,601,688 shares (3.2% of issued shares before the cancellation)
3. Date of cancellation
   April 2, 2020

Note: The number of issued shares after the cancellation will be 3,228,629,406 shares.
