The Features of docomo Hikari

docomo Hikari is a provider-integrated optical Internet service provided by DOCOMO using a FLET'S Hikari line or cable TV equipment.
DOCOMO provides OCN Internet as an Internet service provider.

Unlimited use without worrying about data volume! You can "choose" according to your usage.

Monthly Charges for docomo Hikari

  • The fixed-term plan is based on the continuous use of the same docomo Hikari subscription for two years. It is automatically renewed if no cancellation request is made (including change to a billing plan without a fixed-term subscription). A cancellation fee of ¥5,500 (incl. tax) for Detached House Type, ¥4,180 (incl. tax) for Apartment Type, and ¥2,970 (incl. tax) for docomo Hikari Mini, excluding the renewal period, will be charged for cancellation within the applicable period or for changing to a billing plan without a fixed-term subscription (for customers who apply before June 30, 2022, the cancellation fee will be ¥14,300 (incl. tax) (including docomo Hikari Mini) for Detached House Type and ¥8,800 (incl. tax) for Apartment Type). However, there is no cancellation fee for the current month, the next month, and the month after the next month in which the subscription expires. The subscription periods for docomo Hikari and the paired line (a mobile phone line paired with docomo Hikari) are handled separately. If the subscription periods of the two lines are different and you canceled docomo Hikari at the end of the subscription period of the paired line, there is a cancellation fee for docomo Hikari.
    The cancellation fee will be included on your bill for the month in which the procedure was performed. Please note that the cancellation fee will be included on your bill for the usage for the previous monthonly if it is incurred as a result of the procedure on the first day of each month.
    A separate service provider fee and application are required for Single Type and docomo Hikari Mini. Please check the service provider you plan to use to confirm that your service provider is compatible with docomo Hikari by the scheduled installation date.

You can choose from various Internet service providers, including OCN Internet, a provider offered by DOCOMO. The billing plan varies depending on the service provider.

Great Discounts

Hikari Set Wari

A permanent monthly discount of ¥1,100 (incl. tax) will be applied to customers and their family members within the same Family Discount group if there are one or more lines with docomo Hikari basic usage fee in the current month.
The discount applies to both family members living together and those living apart.

  • This offer is for docomo Hikari subscribers, or "eximo" and "irumo (excluding 0.5 GB data plan)" subscribers within the same Family Discount group. The offer also stands for subscribers of "5G Gigaho Premier," "5G Gigaho," "5G Gigalight (with over 1 GB data plan)," "Gigaho Premier," "Gigaho," and "Gigalight (with over 1 GB data plan)."
  • You are required to subscribe to docomo Hikari within the same Family Discount group, which costs an additional charge. If your docomo Hikari subscription is a fixed-term plan, a cancellation fee will be applied when canceled outside the renewal period. Please refer to "docomo Hikari Billing Plans" for more details.
  • For customers subscribing only to "docomo Hikari Mini," a paired line will benefit from "docomo Hikari set discount" which offers a discount of ¥550 (incl. tax) for "5G Gigaho Premier," "5G Gigaho," "Gigaho Premier," "Gigaho," and "5G Gigalight/Gigalight (between over 3 GB and 7 GB)," as well as a discount of ¥220 (incl. tax) for "5G Gigalight (between over 1 GB and 3 GB)" and "5G Gigalight/Gigalight (between over 1 GB and 3 GB)."
  • "DOCOMO's Giga plan" is a collective term for "5G Gigaho Premier," "5G Gigaho," "5G Gigalight," "Gigaho Premier," "Gigaho," and "Gigalight."

  • The identification documents and letter of consent of the legal parent or guardian are also required when the application is made by a minor, and the identification documents of both the subscriber and representative and a letter of attorney of the subscriber are also required when the application is made by a representative.
  • For the items that you will need for the procedure and notes on the service, see notes (in Japanese only).
  • The procedure can be performed via docomo Online Application) only when setting the pairing of a mobile phone line with docomo Hikari (hereinafter referred to as the "paired line"). When a paired line is not set, the procedure cannot be performed via docomo Online Application).
