What is docomo Denki?

Take advantage of point rewards without changing the quality of your electricity service.

We offer two electricity plans: docomo Denki Basic, which rewards you d POINTs according to the cost of your electricity bill, and docomo Denki Green, which uses CO2-free renewable energy.
These two plans are available to provide electricity in a way that benefits your lifestyle and the earth.

  • Using non-fossil fuel certificates for LNG-fired and other power sources, CO2 emissions are virtually zero.

To apply for docomo Denki, the following information of your current electricity subscription is required.

Please check the My Page of your current electricity company, or have your meter reading slip ready if you are using a paper meter reading slip.

  • Name of your current electricity company
  • Customer number of your current electricity company
  • Supply point identification number
  • Name of the subscription holder
  • Your current amperage capacity

Points are awarded on the tax-exclusive amount of the basic charge and metered charge (including any adjustment costs under the fuel cost adjustment system).
You will receive a 1% or 0.5% reward for every ¥100 (excl. tax) of charges. Amounts less than ¥100 will be rounded down.
The point reward rate may vary depending on your d POINT CLUB membership linkage status, your docomo Denki contract status, your d CARD contract status, and your gas payment method.

Points are awarded on the tax-exclusive amount of either the basic charge or minimum charge, plus the electricity usage charge.
You will receive a 2% reward for every ¥100 (excl. tax) of charges.
Available only if you are subscribed to a mobile phone plan offered since October 2019.
If you do not have a d CARD and have not completed your d POINT user information registration, d POINT rewards are not available.

Charges for docomo Denki and docomo Gas are not eligible for the standard d CARD points (1 point for every ¥100 spent (incl. tax)).

Easy Switchover without Installation Work

There is no need for you go through any cancellation procedures with your current electric company, be present for installation work, or visit a shop.
With no fees incurred for installation or other work, there is nothing else you need to do between application and start of service.
