NTT DoCoMo announced today the availability of the latest virus definition file update (Version 2.6) for the FOMA M1000’s Security Scan Light function.
This will prevent the FOMA M1000 from being infected by the viruses shown below.
We encourage our users to update the virus definition file with Security Scan Light, thus protecting the mobile phone from infection.

The above viruses will not be transmitted to other mobile phones.
The virus symptoms will not cause your data to be deleted.
2. How to update the virus definition file
Please refer to P. 414 to 418 of your user’s manual or the Security Scan Light Simplified Operating Procedures (PDF format:301KB)
Packet communications charges do not apply to perform scans with Security Scan Light.
Regardless of your current software version, this download will update you to the latest virus definition file (Version 2.6).
Please perform the scan with Security Scan Light function yourself. Staff at DoCoMo service counters cannot perform the scan on your behalf.
