Three NTT Group companies, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, NTT Communications Corporation, and NTT DoCoMo, Inc., will participate in ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006 to be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong, China, from Monday December 4 to Friday December 8. The main theme of the NTT Group exhibition is "NTT Group Supports Your Expanding Future Business." Their approach will focus on the NTT Group's vision of contributing to the development of a ubiquitous broadband society in Asia and the rest of the world, as well as its efforts to implement it.

The NTT Group's stand at ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006 will feature the Group's Medium-Term Management Strategy comprising the construction of the next-generation network (NGN) and development of its business globally, not to mention its fiber optic system, its latest R&D results, global ICT solutions, mobile multimedia, its ever evolving mobile network, and more.

Main display

• Presenting the Group's Medium-Term Management Strategy, by which it aims to contribute to the actualization of a safe and secure society through construction of the next-generation network (NGN).
• Multifarious R&D technologies from GE-PON and WDM transmission equipment to optical cable engineering.
• Anti-data-leak solutions contributing to global ICT security management solutions.
• A mobile network boasting the new 3G/W-CDMA services/terminals, and evolving towards HSDPA and 4G.

Along with the Exhibition, Masao Nakamura, President and CEO and Takeshi Natsuno, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Multimedia Services Department, NTT DoCoMo, Inc. will be participating in the ITU TELECOM WORLD 2006 Forum being held at the conference venue inside AsiaWorld-Expo.
