IOWN×FEEL TECH Futuristic Live Streaming Event
Event dates: Saturday, October 4th and Sunday, October 5th, 2025

The NTT Group hosted a futuristic live streaming experience at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, powered by IOWN and FEEL TECH®. We streamed KOBE STORKS games with high speed and low latency using sensory-sharing technology, allowing visitors at the Expo to feel the excitement and atmosphere of the arena as if they were there. On Sunday, October 5, we hosted a special event connecting GLION ARENA KOBE and the Expo venue, allowing fans at both locations to cheer together and showcasing a new way to experience live sports.

At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, we hosted a special event-DOCOMO Mirai Field-where visitors enjoyed learning and hands-on experiences in collaboration with special supporters from the intellectual entertainment group QuizKnock.We organized a talk and quiz session themed around the evolution of telecommunication and the future of communication, creating a fun and engaging experience for all ages-from children to adults-and offering a unique experience exclusive to the Expo.

Circular Economy Research Lab: Enjoy Learning About Circular Economy
Event dates: Tuesday, September 23rd to Monday, September 29th, 2025
Place: EXPO Exhibition Center "WASSE" (South)
DOCOMO participated in the Circular Economy Lab hosted by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
It also showcased the DOCOMO Mobile Phone Recycling program, which has been running since 1998. The booth featured hands-on, easy-to-understand displays showing how mobile phones are sorted and disassembled, attracting many visitors.

The NTT Group's cutting-edge technologies and exhibition experiences that drew attention at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai came together in Shibuya, Tokyo.Highlights included IOWN, which enables high-speed, high-capacity communication; FEEL TECH®, a technology that transmits tactile sensations; and the Virtual Expo, where visitors could experience the Flying Yumeshima. In addition, family-friendly events were held, including workshops for children and photo opportunities where visitors could take pictures with MYAKU-MYAKU while wearing staff uniforms.

Beyond 5G ready showcase

Providing Children with Opportunities to Experience and Learn
We hosted Virtual Expo experience events at Kodomo Shokudo (children's cafeterias) and community gatherings across Japan, giving children the opportunity to experience the excitement of the Expo and learn about the evolution of technology.
As part of DOCOMO's nationwide educational program Sustainability School, we also held Virtual Expo experience classes at elementary and junior high schools across Japan, helping students explore ways to address social challenges through immersive VR experiences.
